For years, we have had a wonderful tradition of gathering to commemorate Bill's Yahrzeit. We have had wonderful gatherings, great memories were shared, and we are really looking forward to being together again to remember Bill. The Yahrzeit, in Jewish Tradition, is the anniversary of a loved one's passing based on the Jewish calendar. On a person's Yahrzeit we can connect with their Soul. It is also taught, that by honoring our loved ones on their Yahrzeit, we help to elevate that Soul in the heavens. To learn more go to http://www.chabadsf.org/
This year the we will gather for the Yahrtzeit iat the end of Shabbos, and celebrate with a special Havdalah. Havdalah is a beautiful ceremony that stimulates the senses and helps us keep the Shabbos Spirit throughout the rest of the week.
May this special Yahrtzeit and Havdalah help us keep Bill's Spirit and Memory with us throughout the rest of the year!
