Chabad of Pacific Heights is pleased to invite you to join us for an inspiring Shabbaton with Rabbi Manis Friedman on March 7 & 8 at the JCC.

The Shabbat experience includes sumptuous gourmet meals by Rebbetzin Taliah Langer, happy hour, easy-to-follow prayers, singing, and stimulating talks by Rabbi Manis Friedman.

Dubbed a “superstar” by the New York Times, world-renowned author, counselor, and philosopher, Rabbi Manis Friedman uses ancient wisdom and modern wit as he captivates audiences around the world. He is a noted Biblical scholar, recognized for his sagacious grasp of Jewish mysticism. In his unique speaking style and signature great sense of humor, Rabbi Friedman conveys Torah inspiration in a way almost no one else can.

 Various topics over the two-day Shabbaton include:

March 7th JCCSF 6:30PM dinner and talk "Getting to like the people you love" SOLD OUT

9:00am "Religion may be harmful to your health"

10:15am Prayer 

March 8th JCCSF 12:30pm lunch and talk "Ancient wisdom for modern times"

 March 8th @ Queen Anne 1590 Sutter ST. 8pm

We will kick off the evening with Havdaala ceremony, a farewell to the Shabbos with Saul Kaye Jewish blues star followed by a talk by Rabbi Manis Friedman "What's love got to do with it?"

Please click here to make a   reservation. Registeration for dinner march 7th will close on midnight, the rest of the Shabbaton is open. We cannot except any money on Shabbos so if you choose to come last minute, you can donate after Shabbos.
