We are excited to share a unique opportunity that will shape the future of our community — the establishment of a forever home for Rabbi Shmulik & Tzippy Friedman and their growing family. For the past 12 years, the Friedmans have been given an amazing opportunity by Chabad SF and the Langers to serve as The Rebbe’s Shluchim here in SF. As the heart of our community, together with the Langer family, the Friedmans have dedicated themselves to serving us, and now it's our turn to provide them with the stability and support they need. For nearly 12 years, Rabbi Friedman has been the pillar of strength, guidance, and support for our Jewish community in SF. Now, it's our turn to stand by his side.
The Need:
Rabbi Shmulik and Tzippy’s beautiful family have been living in SF for the past 12 years. With their growing family - and their growing ambition to build community in SF, the need for a permanent home has become paramount, a place where they can thrive and continue their incredible service to our community. SF's high cost of living poses challenges, but with your help, we can secure a lasting residence that will enable the Rabbi to continue his remarkable service to our community. We believe that by providing the Rabbi and his family with a stable, permanent residence, we can ensure that their focus remains on serving our community for years to come.
The Vision:
Our vision is to establish a forever home for Rabbi Friedman and his family, providing them with the stability and security they deserve. Our dream is to create more than just a home. We aim to establish a central hub for our community — a place where gatherings, warm Shabbat dinners, and educational programs can flourish. By giving the Rabbi and his family a stable residence, we are investing in the growth and continuity of our community.

Monetary Goal: 500,000
This amount will cover expenses such as:
- Home Purchase
- Renovations
- Maintenance Fund
Budget Breakdown:
- Home Purchase: $300,000 (Down payment)
- Renovations: $150,000
- Maintenance Fund: $50,000
- Total Budget: $500,000
