Give Back to Chabad SF - SOMA Shul & Pacific Heights

From Shabbat Dinner every week to free High Holidays at the Fairmont Hotel, The Giving Kitchen to the Young Jewish Professional Community. Chabad is the address for the local Jewish community and visitors from around the world to turn to for all their Jewish and community needs and inspiration.  

Today, we turn to you to help fuel another year of these connections. 

We've been challenged to raise $42,000 in 36 hours. Every dollar you donate will be tripled by our generous matching donors, bringing the total funds raised for the community to $126,000.

How does a Match Campaign work?

Running an operation like Chabad SF requires a major investment of time, energy, and capital. While our Rabbi's and Rebbetzin's work tirelessly to ensure that no Jew is left behind, the day-to-day expenses of operating a Chabad center can be challenging. Rather than charging membership fees or exorbitant event prices, which could alienate some people, we rely on the generosity of the community that we serve. To that end, eight generous donors have come forward with a proposal to help Chabad thrive this year. They will collectively donate $84,000 to our center, provided that it is matched by an equal donation from our you, our community. For these 36 hours only, your dollar will have triple times the impact!

How can I help?

You can be a partner in everything we do to benefit the residents and visitors of S. Francisco by contributing to our campaign these 36 hours, and by spreading the word.
